Fisher-Klosterman-Buell Shanghai Co., Ltd.
is a wholly owned division of Fisher-Klosterman, Inc. (FKB) headquartered
in Louisville, Kentucky. The company was founded as a joint venture
between FKB and CALNY in March of 2005. During April of 2006, FKB
and CALNY executed an agreement by which FKB became the sole owner.
Fisher-Klosterman-Buell Shanghai Co. operates from a facility located
in the Pudong New Area of Shanghai with more than 40,000 sq. ft. of
shop and office space under one roof. The shop facility is equipped
with cranes having 26 ft. under hook height and a 32 ton lifting capacity.
The welders are certified in accordance with ASME Section IX and the
Chinese GB codes. The Quality Control system utilized is the same
as employed by Buell and FKB in the USA.
Fisher-Klosterman-Buell Shanghai Co., is able to utilize extensive
technology developed by the USA based Buell and Fisher-Klosterman
Divisions (FKB) for market development, distribution, production,
and service. The equipment design philosophy developed by the Buell
and FKB Divisions since 1934 has a worldwide installed base. Fisher-Klosterman-Buell
Shanghai Co. offers a full range of services including Sales, Engineering,
Manufacturing and Refractory lining installation. Products include
cyclones, classifiers, fabric filter dust collectors, precipitator
components, scrubbers, and third stage separators.
The Buell Division has engaged in the study of cyclone separating
technology and the development of application markets since the company
was founded in 1934. It has produced many patents for cyclone separating
technology and has a long history of application engineering practical
experience. The cyclone products of Buell Company have been applied
in all types of fluid catalytic cracking units. Buell also provides
classification systems, which use no moving parts to produce precision
particulate separations. The Fisher-Klosterman Division (FKB) based
in Louisville, Kentucky, has been the leader in ultra high efficiency
cyclone design and manufacturing since 1961.
By leveraging the FKB-Buell Technology, FKB is able to offer high
quality, cost effective solutions for particulate removal and recovery
at the Shanghai location. Utilizing this design technology basis Fisher-Klosterman-Buell
Shanghai Co. has successfully manufactured cyclones, vapor recovery
systems, and large scrubber vessel components in China.
